Out of Hours Construction ApplicationRequest to carry out building works outside standard hours
Hoarding/Temporary Fencing ApplicationThis application is to be completed when applying for a permit to construct hoarding/temporary fencing for construction purpose that will be located on Council's footpath/footway.

Section 126 and 138 of the Roads Act, 1993.
Section 68 of Local Government Act, 1993.
Tree and Vegetation ApplicationThis application is to be completed to prune or remove a tree.
Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) CertificateThis certificate can be requested to verify the level of bushfire threat in accordance with AS 3959:2018 – ‘Construction of buildings in bushfire-prone areas’ and must be obtained to accompany a Complying Development Certificate Application under State Environmental Planning Policy (Exempt and Complying Development Codes) where the project is located on bushfire prone land. The assessment fee is as per Council’s current fees and charges.
Swimming Pool Barrier Inspection Request / Compliance CertificateThis application is to be requested for the following circumstances:
1. Sale of Property
2. Lease of Property
3. Requested by Council as part of Inspection Program
4. Multi Unit or Tourism properties
Application for Vehicular Crossing Boundary LevelsThis application is to be completed to ensure uniformity in the design and construction of vehicular crossings so that safe and convenient vehicular access to and from parking spaces within a property can be provided.
Vehicular Crossing QuoteThis application is to be completed for the provision of a quote for the construction of a vehicular crossing by Hornsby Council.
Written Planning AdviceThis application is to be completed for the purpose of seeking written advice for more detailed information with respect to dwelling entitlement or historic or current development applications.
Pre-Lodgement Application (Development)This application is to be completed to request a pre-lodgement meeting to obtain feedback from Council on the technical and merit aspects of a development proposal. Staff will look at your plans and documents, then give you advice on the best way forward.
Planning Proposal Pre-Lodgement ApplicationThis application is to be completed for a pre-lodgement meeting and written feedback from Council on a Planning Proposal.
Heritage Exemption AdviceThis is a request for advice from Council on whether minor works to a Heritage Item or to a property within a Heritage Conservation Area can be carried out without development consent. Works that are of a minor nature or involve maintenance and do not have an adverse heritage impact can be considered. Staff will review your request and provide written advice on whether the proposal is permitted without development consent under Clause 5.10(3) of the Hornsby Local Environmental Plan 2013.
Execution of Legal DocumentsThis application is for the Execution of Legal Documents (ELD).
Waste Water Management System - Approval to InstallApplication to install Wastewater Treatment in unsewered areas made under Section 68 of the Local Government Act 1993.
Stormwater DrainageApplication for approval to connect to Council’s Drainage System and/or Council approval of an On-Site Detention design.
Management PlansRequest for Assessment / Review of Construction or Environmental Management Plans
